I am excited to share with you a little bit about a walk at Little Qualicum Falls from back in November. (I'm a little behind and trying to catch up!). LQF, let's call it, is a gem nestled within the lush landscapes of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Despite the damn November air, the scenery was alive with vibrant hues, and the rhythmic rush of water filled the atmosphere, capturing our senses from the start.
Our explorations of the Vancouver Island region have become a cherished tradition since our relocation three years ago. Little Qualicum Falls, with its captivating beauty, has established itself as a favourite among our family. Even amidst the gloomy November weather, its charm stayed strong, inviting us to enjoy its beauty again.
One aspect that never fails to captivate me during our visits is the abundance of photography opportunities. Vancouver Island is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, and Little Qualicum Falls serves as an exquisite canvas for capturing British Columbia's stunning scenery. From the majestic trees to the thundering sound of the waterfalls, each view offers a stunning scene ready to be captured!
But beyond taking pictures, there's a deep peace here that calms me. The sound of water against rocks is like a soothing melody, giving me comfort amidst my active lifestyle.
Let's talk about how impressive Little Qualicum Falls are. Despite the name, they're anything but small. Their powerful, thundering waters show just how magnificent nature can be. Being there makes you feel small and reminds you of the incredible beauty of the outdoors.
Living in British Columbia means being surrounded by amazing natural beauty everywhere we go. Every trip reminds us how lucky we are to call this stunning place home.
Until our next adventure, may your explorations be filled with wonder and discovery. Hope you enjoyed this blog post and the accompanying images. For more stunning and zen British Columbia photography, please visit my portfolio! Thanks for reading!
